Aston – July 2, 2020 – Sun East Federal Credit Union recognizes and awards students in our community for their volunteer efforts that support the credit union’s philosophy of “People Helping People.” The awards, created as a benefit for schools that have a charter membership with Sun East Federal Credit Union, are for students who performed community service within the last year and had a positive influence on the people around them. This year 14 students received financial awards for their community service efforts:

The Best Teacher Under the Sun Award acknowledges outstanding achievements of teachers in their performance of daily classroom activities, special projects or programs, or exemplary efforts to inspire students to reach beyond their grasp.The award application is open for all educators who teach in schools that are part of the credit union’s Select Employer Group program. Teachers can be nominated by school administrators, faculty, parents and students. The awards committee selects one winning teacher from each category of Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. Each winning teacher receives $500, and his/her school also receives $500.Congratulations to the 2020 Best Teacher Under the Sun Award winners:
